Yeah, I agree, the video makes it look pretty amazing. It just seems like the sort of technology that will be too expensive to really catch on right away. I could see it becoming common in a lot of big tech companies though. The small conference rooms that used to just have a basic camera and monitor could be replaced with a proper booth like this with way higher quality video. It also just gives off that vibe of an awesome looking project that Google will just discontinue before it really sees the light of day. We shall see. Thanks for reading!
Yeah, I think it is a good prototype will never become available in public. I guess nobody will use it at home.
Maybe with conference rooms, but tbh, why should you even bother to use fancy real world experience if you just can use a zoom/teams/loom/etc call. I mean, you only want to see the other person, talk and see their reactions.
